Harrap's Standard French and English Dictionary is a substantial bilingual reference work edited by J. E. Mansion, one of the major French-English dictionaries published by George G. Harrap & Co. The traditional two-volume set is divided into Part 1: French–English and Part 2: English–French, making it useful in both directions for translation, reading and study. The revised editions were widely used by students and translators; indeed, Australian university French courses in the 1960s listed the two-volume Harrap's as a principal textbook/reference work.
